Data to Track the COVID-19 Outbreak in Canada"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/colin-fraser.net\/covid-19\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Colin Fraser<\/a>, a Data Scientist at Facebook (and a former Lead Educator at BrainStation) has recently publish a dashboard that tracks the growth of COVID-19 across Canadian provinces.&nbsp;The data comes from the&nbsp;Johns Hopkins COVID-19 resource center, which they\u2019ve shared publicly in&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/CSSEGISandData\/COVID-19\">this GitHub repo<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>While Fraser cannot guarantee the accuracy of this information with the rapid progression of the virus, the data should be consistent with the Johns Hopkins dashboard.<\/p>\n<div id=\"current-tally\" class=\"section level2\">\n<h2>Current Tally<\/h2>\n<p>According to the latest data, as of March 30th, 2020 there have been 7,385 confirmed cases reported in Canada, resulting in 79 This is \u201cthe curve\u201d that you\u2019ve heard about trying to flatten.
