Survey respondents also listed content strategy as one of their primary focuses for 2019. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">One obstacle is that developing a content strategy can be more labour intensive than other marketing efforts. A study by Accenture found that <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.digitaltrends.com\/social-media\/why-consumers-are-increasingly-willing-to-trade-data-for-personalization\/#ixzz2g8dgrqko\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">73 percent<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> of customers prefer buying from retailers that offer a personalized experience. According to <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pewinternet.org\/2018\/03\/01\/social-media-use-in-2018\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Pew research<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, 73 percent of American adults are using Youtube, and 94 percent of Americans between the ages of 18 and 24.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Video is also dominant on other social media platforms, in fact, video gets shared on social <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/venturebeat.com\/2017\/10\/03\/why-video-marketing-has-to-be-a-top-priority-vb-live\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">1200 percent<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> more than text and images combined.
