About the Role

As part of BrainStation’s Experience department, the Senior Manager of Education Experience is responsible for the operations of our bootcamp programming both on campus and online. You will work closely with our industry-expert Educators to deliver an exceptional experience for our bootcamp students by supporting them through their programme and planning experiences to connect them to the local tech industry. You will work directly with our Senior Leadership team to oversee the end-to-end bootcamp experience for your portfolio of bootcamp programmes. We are looking for a professional who will lead a team to thrive in a fast-paced and growing market. 

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the Education Experience team in your market by hiring, coaching and mentoring more junior team members
  • Organise and execute BrainStation events, including guest speakers, hiring partner events and Demo Day (Graduate Project Showcase)
  • Identify opportunities to improve programme delivery and programme efficiencies
  • Develop programmes and strategies to continue to grow our student community with a growth mindset
  • Collaborate with our Educators in the co-creation of our programme delivery schedules in advance to provide clear visibility of team capacity and resourcing
  • Build and develop local Educator team overseeing the full hiring and onboarding process
  • Support Educator team, providing coaching and professional development opportunities for them inside and out of the classroom
  • Build and develop relationships with industry partners to support BrainStation’s outcomes-oriented learning model
  • Functional understanding of regulatory requirements in your jurisdiction and working alongside our global Education Operations and Legal teams 
  • Participate in the tech community to build the BrainStation brand
  • Manage the operations of your local campus with support from the Global Operations team including health and safety procedures for our staff and students and ensuring Campus Supervisor adheres to proper opening and closing procedures 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 7+ years experience in a customer or client facing role (experience in digital, education, hospitality or customer service is an asset)
  • 5+ years of management experience
  • Startup experience is an asset; ability to thrive in a dynamic, high-growth business environment
  • Experience in hiring, coaching and managing teams
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Public speaking experience 
  • A passion for all things tech and digital
