Is This Course For Me?

The part-time iOS Development course is tailored to those looking to learn how to build their own custom mobile app. Previous experience working with variables, control flow, functions, data structures and objects is recommended to succeed in the course.

Throughout the course, students will learn the Swift programming language to create a series of iOS applications using the iOS Software Development Kit and Xcode, a development environment featuring software tools. They'll also learn how to deploy their app to the App Store.

Project-based learning gives students the guidance and hands-on experience needed to build a sleek iOS app that boasts persistent data storage and network data calls.

Before diving into course content, students are given the opportunity to set goals and define what they hope to achieve as a result of taking the course. Educators take this information and work with students to ensure they remain on track throughout the duration of the course.

Access to Course Content

Students can access course content at any time through the BrainStation Learning Portal to review past lectures and prepare for upcoming classes. This accessibility allows students to leverage the flipped classroom model and continually build on their new knowledge or revisit concepts outside of the classroom.
