Looking to increase your career potential by learning social media marketing? Experience what learning Digital Marketing at BrainStation is all about. Our Part-time Social Media Marketing and Digital Marketing courses are effective mediums for achieving your digital goals, as the program is hands-on, project-based and led by an active industry expert.

If you’re curious to dive deeper into Digital Marketing or Social Media Marketing, this 90 minute workshop is an excellent precursor to the Part-time course course while offering a sense of the BrainStation learning experience. You'll have a chance to explore our learning model, custom portal and chat with Learning Advisors.

This Social Media Marketing Workshop will provide you with a fundamental understanding of what digital marketing consists of with a focus on social media components of the practice. We'll take a look at new realities in marketing that social media has created and where its value lies within various digital platforms. Lastly, we'll collectively assemble a social strategy for a brand and outline how it connects to the brand's overall strategy.

Shannon Thorndyke is VP of Digital at Ehm & Co, where she oversees bridging the art and science of innovative communications for brands looking to connect with Canadian women.

 

She is a passionate technophile, a digital native, and a creative problem solver; fitting square pegs into round holes is her specialty. Her skills include creation and execution of integrated digital marketing campaigns, and she has over a decade of experience partnering with multinational brands in the North American digital space. In the last six years, Shannon has focused her passion for excellence in influencer marketing - even before “influencer marketing” was a “thing.
