ACL today announced Dan Zitting has been named its Chief Product Officer.
Zitting is a former Workpapers.com founder (acquired by ACL in 2011) and has been a part of ACL’s leadership team for a while. As Chief Product Officer, Zitting will lead the group focused on partnering with customers to evolve ACL’s solutions and then go to market, including the product management, product design, content solutions, user experience, and marketing teams.
“In the short time I’ve known Dan, he has distinguished himself as the most productively disruptive person I’ve ever met,” said Laurie Schultz, President and CEO at ACL. “His vision for turning the market expectations for GRC software on its head has had a remarkable impact in the category and in the halls at ACL. Under his leadership, we have transformed as a partner to our customers, as a creator of intuitively designed software, and as a destination for the best and brightest talent.”
Prior to joining ACL, Zitting served in the Technology & Security Risk Services practice at Ernst & Young before co-founding risk advisory services firm Linford & Company LLP.
“The potential for ACL to redefine what role GRC software and the important people who use it every day play in large companies and governments around the world is extraordinary,” he said. “More importantly, thanks to the incredible history of ACL, the opportunity to do it from right here in Vancouver, Canada has become very real.”
ACL is hiring for more than 20 open positions.
