On Tuesday April 21st, Agile Vancouver is hosting an afternoon event on the application of Lean Principles to software development. The Lean Development for Lean Times workshop will bring together leading thinkers from Lean Production and Lean software. They’ve got three interactive sessions on the agenda.
- An Introduction to Lean Product Development – Katherine Radeka
- Scrumban: Lean Thinking for Agile Process Evolution – Corey Ladas
- The Lean Startup: a Disciplined Approach to Imagining, Designing, and Building New Product – Eric Ries
Speaker Eric Ries blogged earlier this week that a surprising number of respondents to his latest Lessons Learned survey hail from “one of the flourishing startup hubs in Canada” – so in order to familiarize himself with ours, he’s heading Norht for this Agile Vancouver event. Ries co-founded avatar chat instant messenger site IMVU.
The event will run from 2:30pm to 7:00pm at the Plaza 500 Hotel on West 12th Avenue. Register online to attend. Agile Vancouver is a non-profit user group run by volunteers and affiliated with the Agile Alliance.
