Founded in 2013 by serial entrepreneur Anil Sethi, Gliimpse’s goal was for people to have a single electronic health record to access and share for smoother healthcare experiences.

It is not clear exactly why Apple wanted Gliimpse, but we do know the company has been increasingly interested in health tech recently. The iPad has seen success in hospitals, where the form factor shines, and some of the Apple Watch’s best features are on the fitness side.
