Nick Bilton of the New York Times has released a report that is the latest in a string of confirmations that Apple is building a TV powered by Siri.
Ever since Walter Isaacson’s biography of Steve Jobs quoted the Apple legend as saying “I’ve finally cracked it”—referring to making a great TV—speculation has been a dizzying storm over alleged details.
This latest report says that Apple has been developing this product since 2007 and is “guaranteed” to launch, mostly like toward the end of 2012 or the beginning of 2013—with an official announcement expected in less than a year. The television will feature simple Apple software integration and Siri power and will go up to at least 42 inches in size. No one has guessed the price yet though.
