Apple Launches iPhone 6S with 3D Touch

Today at an event in San Francisco, Apple unveiled the new iPhones.

The new devices, the iPhone 6S and 6S plus, feature new aluminum casing and a new glass screen for added durability.

The new iPhones feature 3D Touch, a new feature from Apple. The iPhone senses different levels of touch to create new gestures based on finger pressure.

“This is unlike any smartphone experience you’ve ever seen,” Apple says.

The new iPhone has an A9 chip, an improved iSight camera, and an improved FaceTime camera. You can now shoot and edit 4K video from your iPhone, Apple says.

The iPhone 6S starts shipping September 25 at the same price as last year’s models, which now cost $100 less.

iOS 9 is available September 16.

iCloud prices have dropped.
