Are you willing to fully commit to the mobile web experience? There are six segments identified by TNS in its Digital Life study, and each one has a different level of commitment.

Only 21% of Networkers, who network extensively through social media and other online means, are willing to fully commit to the mobile web experience. But 51% of Aspirers, who are most eager to work and learn more online, would be happy doing all internet surfing via mobile. 

And breaking it down task by task, smartphones shine in some areas but fall short in others. Smartphones score almost as well as PCs when it comes to handling email, but with shopping, mobile devices just don’t cut it.
