BC Gaming Companies Get Opportunity to Go Gangnam Style at G*STAR 2012

This year G*STAR 2012 marks its eighth year as Asia’s largest gaming show.

Hosted by the Korea Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (MCST) and Busan Metropolitan City, G*STAR is organized by the Korea Association of Game Industry and the Busan IT Industry Promotion Agency.

Last year G*STAR attracted more than 289,000 visitors with 1,813 booths in B2C and B2B halls representing 384 companies from 28 countries with an estimated 6,800 business pitches were made at G*STAR 2011.

If you’re a gaming company looking to showcase your business and attract new investment or export opportunities, G*STAR brings together online, mobile, arcade and console game developers from around the world under one roof.

The BC Government wants the province to be well represented at G*STAR and is offering gaming companies an opportunity to exhibit in the British Columbia Pavilion for free. If your company is chosen, you will receive:

  • Complimentary exhibit space to promote your product or service.
  • Complimentary hotel room to be provided by the Korea Association of Game Industry.
  • Access to business matching services provided by the British Columbia International Trade and Investment Representative office in Korea and G*STAR 2012 organizer.
  • Free participation in G*STAR night and network party, etc.

Exhibit space is limited and will be provided on a first-come, first-serve basis (and companies are responsible for their own flight and ground transportation arrangements and costs).

G*STAR 2012 is from November 8 to 11 in Busan, Korea.
