BlackBerry Reveals Impressive Price Point of Forthcoming Passport Device

BlackBerry is widely expected to launch its newest device, the Passport, this Wednesday.

The smartphone, CEO John Chen has revealed, will be priced at $600 in North America, lower than the flagship devices of its rivals. However, Chen wanted to “get the market interested” with aggressive pricing.

The Passport boasts a 4.5-inch square display and a large physical keyboard. Its design is enterprise-focused, optimized for efficient typing and document viewing.

The Passport reflects BlackBerry’s renewed focus on the enterprise market under Chen’s leadership.
