BroadbandTV raising funds, awareness, for cancer research

BroadbandTV wants you to multitask. They want you to watch their videos. They want you to give to cancer researchers. And with their VISO Give on-demand video channel, doing one means doing the other.

This online video channel broadcasts messages from charitable and non-profit partners, increasing the viewers’ awareness of them. As well, the VISO Give channel gives a share of the channel’s advertising revenue to the non-profit partners.

Since World Cancer Day was last Friday, February 4th, charities committed to fightiung the disease have been a major recipient of VISO Give’s efforts. Livestrong, Coast to Coast Against Cancer and the Make-a-Wish Foundation are all on the receiving end of BroadbandTV’s fundraising efforts.

“We’re excited to leverage this program for the benefit of World Cancer Day,” said Shahrzad Rafati, founder and CEO of BroadbandTV, in a press release. “We want to create exposure and generate donations for important causes such as Cancer.”
