Canadian-born Kiip Raises $10 Million for Valuation of $50 Million

Kiip has raised $8 to $10 million for up to 20% of the company, according to a report from TechCrunch.

Kiip is a Silicon Valley startup that was founded by Canadian entrepeneur Brian Wong.

Brian famously raised a venture capital round worth several hundred thousand dollars for Kiip in 2010 at the ripe young age of 19, making headlines for being the world’s youngest entrepreneur to raise substantial funds from real outside investors.

Kiip has since become a smashing success, serving its rewards-based ads into more than 400 apps across Apple’s iOS and Google’s Android.

UPDATE: Brian Wong told Techvibes that this is “still a rumour,” neither accepting or denying the accuracy of TC’s report.
