Canadian New Media Awards looking for submissions

The Canadian New Media Awards celebrate Canada’s digital media best in interactive communications, recognizing outstanding achievement in branded entertainment, mobile marketing, social media and interactivity. The competition is tough; finalists will be chosen for their creative genius, use of interactivity and smooth execution.

There are a total of 19 category awards up for grabs including the following 4 that might be of interest to our readers.

  • Brand of the Year – Brand that has leveraged digital media to promote, enhance products and engage audiences/consumers.
  • Best in Interactive Marketing – Excellence in the creation, delivery and execution of interactive advertising campaigns. Including but not limited to video, websites, banners, pop-ups, microsites, email, digital out of home, and rich media.
  • Best Use of Social Media – Demonstrates excellent use of social media for business, arts and community or non for profit organizations.
  • Best in Mobile Marketing – Brand, agency or campaign who has demonstrated innovation and exceptional execution in mobile marketing. Entrees will be judged according to potential to influence consumer perception or purchasing habits.

Nominees will be announced early-November and the winners announced on December 1st at a gala ceremony at The Design Exchange in Toronto. Get your submission in before October 2nd.
