Co-founder of Microsoft is suing Facebook, Google, Apple, eBay, and more

Paul Allen, a co-founder of Microsoft (but has since left), has filed lawsuits against  AOL, Apple, eBay, Facebook, Netflix, Office Depot, OfficeMax, Staples, Yahoo and YouTube (owned by Google) for infringing on his patents, according to the WSJ

The patents were filed over a decade ago, and although he never actually developed any of the technology himself, Paul owns all of the patents.

The lawsuits don’t mention an amount for the damages sought.
