Coders, hackers and investors invited to attend Foundery and DDIMIT open house

Coder, hackers and investors are invited to come out to the Foundery & DDIMIT open house on February 17th, and see what’s going on at the place where design, technology and entrepreneurship intersect in Toronto.

DDIMIT, which stands for “Designing Digital Media for the Internet of Things,” is a private-public-academic consortium exploring the “Internet of Things,” which they define as where the physical meets the digital. The DDIMIT Lab is where their activities go down, featuring open source tools and technologies for experimentation and innovation, and invites organizations and individuals interested in the digital-physical boundary to join them.

Foundery is where entrepreneurs, investors, and tech wizards can meet up to strengthen their bids for financial success. Mentorship and networking are key aspects of this organization, and innovative companies and services are their specialty.

While most open house tickets are “sold out” (I put that phrase in quotation marks because all tickets are free), investors, coders and hackers are still welcome to come by on February 17th.
