Cybera Summit 2010 Registration opens today

Cybera‘s annual fall Summit 2010 takes place September 21st and 22nd at the Banff Centre and Vancouver’s Leonard Brody will be headlining the event tagged Driving Alberta’s Digital Evolution. Brody is one of Canada’s leading technology forecasters and business strategists.

Summit 2010 will focus on the projects, technologies and opportunities driving the evolution of digital-based R&D sectors and economies where “digital” refers to anything that involves data management, pervasive broadband, network-enabled platforms, cloud and advanced computing, or online/web-integrated resources (ie. Web 2.0).

Through panel sessions, keynote presentations, demos and networking opportunities, partipants will explore a variety of topics such as:

  • The Nexus of Science Policy and ICT Policy: Implications and Outcomes
  • The Economics Behind Cyberinfrastructure

Registration for the summit officially opens today, with early-bird registration rates available until August 25th.
