Edelman Canada recently announced the launch of Edelman Digital, which the firm says cements its “major commitment to the practice and entering a new era.”
It also revealed a number of high-level Canadian appointments and unveiled a new creative newsroom.
“For years, we’ve produced ground-breaking work for high-profile clients in all of our practices. We build engagement opportunities with real people and we do it with the finest capabilities,” explains Tristan Roy, Managing Director, Edelman Digital Canada. “With cross-channel integration and an integrated roster of talent, we’re in a great position. This is a coming out party; no longer are we the industry’s best-kept secret.”
Edelman Canada, which has employees in Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver, and Calgary, has hired award-winning communicator and thought leader Dave Fleet as Senior Vice President of Canada East; digital marketing master Steven Park as Senior Vice President of Canada West; and seasoned developer Paul Ortchanian as Vice President of Technology.
Edelman Digital says its new “Creative Newsroom” brings together content creators, strategists, analysts, and editors “to deliver responsive and dynamic integrated digital marketing for clients.” It will be located in Toronto.
Meanwhile, the company’s new website will act as an online home for Edelman Digital’s Canadian practice.
“At Edelman, we have long championed the potential and power of digital. Globally, we continue to invest heavily in this area, deliberately gathering the finest minds in the field and bringing them together to drive progress and deliver solutions for our clients,” noted Edelman Canada CEO John Clinton. “In Canada, the digital practice has never been stronger, and we’re excited to show it off.”
