EDGE Wants to Turn Videogame Developers into Entrepreneurs

In January, the G. Raymond Chang School of Continuing Education and  Interactive Ontario will co-launch EDGE. The workshop-based program, which stands for Education for Digital and Games Entrepreneurs, is designed to educate digital entrepreneurs with the non-technical essentials of the digital and gaming industry, including skills in business that are needed to make key business decisions, skills in training, leadership and administration.

Workshop courses include business strategy and tactics, human resources and labour relations, project management, finance and marketing. The program will feature industry experts from Canada and around the world, including Vikas Gupta, CEO and President of TransGaming, and Donald Henderson, VP of Business and Legal Affairs and General Counsel for bitHeads. It will also provide opportunities to network and forge business relationships.

Interactive Ontario is a nonprofit organization committed to the growth of Ontario’s interactive digital content industry.
