Elastic Path Growing and Hiring Despite Recession

Earlier today Vancouver’s Elastic Path Software was named one of three finalists in the Emerging Company of the Year category at BCTIA’s 2009 Technology Impact Awards. While you may not have heard of Elastic Path to date, it looks like you’ll be hearing their name plenty in the future.

Elastic Path is a local success story that is experiencing exponential growth despite the current economy. They’re getting bigger by the minute, so if you’re looking for work (especially if you have Java experience) check out their job site where you’ll find 11 fresh opportunites.

Private and profitable, the company was founded by a group of local entrepreneurs 8 years ago with no outside capital. Elastic Path is now over 120 people strong with offices in  Vancouver and the UK and some BIG name customers including Aeroplan, Time, Avis, Samsonite, and the crown jewel 2010 Winter Olympics store.

On top of their nod as at TIA finalist this morning, they have a lobby full of business awards including the Profit 100 and Top 40 Under 40. There’s no doubt Elastic Path Software is a company to watch as they will continue to innovate in the e-commerce space.
