This past weekend, Apple opened two new retail stores in Canada in Halifax and Coquitlam. It’s one of many signs that Apple retail is successful.
Another strong piece of evidence is some recent numbers that The Loop extracted from what is now the most valuable company in the world, ever. Numbers such as 375, the amount of retail stores Apple now has worldwide. Or 50,000, the number of people who get serviced at a Genius Bar every single day.
DON’T MISS: Apple retail employees earn $12 per hour but generate $420,000 in revenue.
Or the big one, 300 million—the amount of visitors to Apple stores since October 2011, the start of Apple’s fiscal 2012. That’s nearly the entire population of the US, or nine times the population of Canada. It’s also more than one million people per day, or over 3,000 people per store per day.
