Facebook, with more than 1.2 billion active users, is the largest social network in the world.
But do social networks impact the global economy? Yes, as it turns out. According to a report from Deloitte—commissioned by Facebook—the company’s impact is more than $200 billion.
“Facebook enables significant global economic activity by helping to unlock new opportunities through connecting people and businesses, lowering barriers to marketing, and stimulating innovation,” Deloitte says.
