Fighting Malaria with Web 2.0: Doctors Without Borders integrate Montreal’s Nimbb into campaign

Statistics show that Malaria is killing nearly 800,000 people and afflicting 225 million people every year. Yet this disease is both treatable and preventable.

Doctors Without Borders has created a new campaign called “Kiss Malaria Goodbye” that marries the standard soliciting of donations with the wonders of Web 2.0.

In addition to Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube, the campaign is utilizing the video technologies of Montreal startup Nimbb, which just launched from beta in February.
