Techvibes reported in January that Fisker Automotive had signed a deal with Vancouver-based Advanced Lithium Power Inc. to supply potentially thousands of 22.6-kilowatt-hour lithium-ion batteries for the Fisker Karma. At the same time, the maker of the world’s first luxury plug-in hybrid electric vehicle made a “sizable” cash investment in the Advanced Lithium Power.
Pretty significant news for a Vancouver developer of high power energy storage device.
Rumours were swirling that MINI Yaletown would be selling the Fisker Karma later this year in Vancouver. No confirmation yet but a Fisker Karma was on display at La Terrazza in Yaletown yesterday.
