Gamification is no longer a buzzword.
In fact, since the introduction of the word back in the early 2000’s, it has now evolved to have its own summit and become an integral component to a variety of applications: social networks (Foursquare, Scvngr), language training (Duolingo), healthcare (Hyginex) and many others.
One of the growing areas for gamification is a field that you might not expect but have probably encountered: corporate training.
The world of corporate training has for a long time existed in a classroom-style environment with teacher-led instruction; however, that model is changing at a rapid pace.
As gamification continues to evolve, we can expect to see it permeate different aspects of our day-to-day lives and certainly make the real world more engaging.
