GenerUS Marketing Solutions Bolsters Functionality of Coupons4Giving to Support Nonprofit Fundraising

GenerUS Marketing Solutions this week announced the addition of two new functionalities to its e-commerce platform, Coupons4Giving.

The new features enable nonprofit organizations to collect direct donations and sell tickets to their events on the same platform on which they sell coupons to supporters.

After what the Canadian company says was a successful beta with 16 nonprofits and 20 merchants, Coupons4Giving used the participants’ feedback to craft a solution that addresses their three key fundraising activities: accepting donations through an online portal; running campaigns to raise awareness or support special initiatives; and holding events.

“We are disrupting the way not-for-profits raise money for their causes,” said Randy Thompson, CEO of Coupons4Giving.

“After a successful beta, the opportunity to provide integrated tools on one e-commerce platform will help make fundraising even easier,” Thompson added. “We think it is a real breakthrough, especially for NPO’s without a fundraising infrastructure.”

GenerUS Marketing Solutions was founded in Edmonton in 2012. Coupons4Giving was launched in October 2013.
