‘Get in the Ring’ a Wrestling-Inspired Startup Pitch Competition for Canadian Founders

Are you tough enough to get in the ring with other founders to duke it out and see whose startup comes out on top?

Get in the Ring is a startup pitch competition founded by the Netherlands-based Erasmus Centre for Entrepreneurship. Futurpreneur Canada, an organization that fuels the passions of Canada’s young entrepreneurs, is hosting the Canadian round of Get in the Ring.

To enter, submit a short pitch video and application online by September 17.

A panel of judges will choose five Canadian champions to head to Kansas City to compete at the Regional Finals against other startups from the United States and Mexico. If you win that battle, you will then move on to the International Finals in the Netherlands during Global Entrepreneurship Week, the world’s largest celebration of entrepreneurship. There you’ll get into a real wrestling ring to pitch your startup against competitors from around the world in front of 600 people.

Global Entrepreneurship Week is an international movement to inspire millions of young people to embrace innovation, imagination and creativity through entrepreneurship taking place November 17 to 23.
