Grow Conference’s Startup Smackdown goes Under the Radar with Shopify

Formerly know as the “Startup Smackdown”, the Grow Conference’s Under the Radar showcase will highlight emerging companies that are disrupting the way traditional business is run.

This year the pitch contest has found a sponsor in Shopify.

The newly public-traded commerce company valued at over $2.5 billion will be responsible for selecting 10 of most compelling emerging startups to present on stage in front of executives from Shopify, Hootsuite, Mastercard, RBC and several of the top investors and press from Silicon Valley.

Confirmed judges to date include Shopify’s Harley Finkelstein and Hootsuite’s Matt Switzer.

Shopify is interested in meeting companies from categories including product discovery, marketplaces, social buying, and shipping among others.
