15 hardware startups competed to win the Metal Man trophy from TechCrunch’s Hardware Battlefield at CES in Las Vegas this week.
The winner was Voltera, a Waterloo startup working from the Velocity Foundry. The Canadian company snagged $50,000.
Voltera is the maker of the V-One, a circuit board prototyping printer.
Voltera beat out finalists Fogo Digital, Looksee, Peeple, and Sutro.
The final panel of judges included 50 Cent and Yves Behar.
