‘Health Tech Innovation Hub’ Brings Together Medical Community

A centre harnessing cutting-edge medical research aimed at furthering medical advancements and patient care opened this week in Surrey, BC.

Called the Health Tech Innovation Hub, the hub is the latest to join the growing list of like-minded buildings opening at Surrey’s Innovation Boulevard.

“Today is an important step forward in the evolution of medical research and patient care in British Columbia,” says Health Tech Innovation Hub CEO Dianne Watts, the former mayor of the city. “We see this building as a clear advancement in the desire to achieve patient-centered solutions by bringing together all facets of the medical community.”

The Health Tech Innovation Hub is home to medical experts and a number of entrepreneurs in the health tech field, including Canadian digital technology company Conquer Mobile, who is developing first of its kind technology in advanced simulation-based training, and Health Tech Connex, who is leading in the development of brain diagnostic and monitoring technologies.
