HoHoTO partners with HomeStars.com to raise money for the Daily Bread Food Bank

HoHoTO, the Daily Bread Food Bank’s Annual fundraiser put on by members of Toronto’s tech, media, digital marketing, social media and public relations communities, has a new best friend: HomeStars.com, a website that collects reviews of home improvement companies throughout Canada and the U.S.

HomeStars has generously offered to donate $5 for every approved review submitted to their website. If you have thoughts, positive or negative, on your latest experience with a contractor, repairman or even a supplier, send it in to HomeStars to support this great cause.

HomeStars has also become a “Gingerbread” level sponsor of the event by donating $500 to the food bank.

Since 2008, HoHoTO has raised over $80,000 for Toronto’s Daily Bread Food Bank since its inception in 2008. Twitter, Facebook, email and traditional networking techniques have all been a valuable part of this tech-savvy feel-good story.

The main event for HoHoTO is a holiday bash for a good cause at the Mod Club in Toronto. On December 16th at 7 p.m., join your colleagues in Toronto’s tech industries for a good time and help those less fortunate. You can find out information on tickets here.
