HotSpot Parking, Pacta Named Top Companies at Atlantic Venture Forum

HotSpot Parking was selected as the top growth-stage company at the Atlantic Venture Forum on Thursday, reports Entrevestor.

PACTA was named the leading seed-stage company.

HotSpot Parking competed with eight other companies at the event; Pacta with 11.

Other companies at the event included Eyeread, which recently rasied funding from East Valley Ventures, and Bungalo, which revealed funding from BDC Capital, according to Entrevestor.

The Atlantic Venture Forum took place in Halifax. The event brings together tech startups in Atlantic Canada. The primary objective of the Atlantic Venture Forum is “to build a world class annual financing and partnering forum for the highest potential emerging IT, Cleantech and Life Sciences companies to present their innovations and business models” to active investors.
