Marketing software firm HubSpot has acquired two startups, Chime and PrepWork.
Chime, a Google Chrome-based web notification centre, is based in Toronto. HubSpot says it will pull the team out of Canada and into its US headquarters.
While it looks like an acquisition driven by talent, TechCrunch suggests the deals were also for product integration with HubSpot’s existing offerings.
Financial terms of the deals were not disclosed.
