Canadian Tech Businesses Compete for 2013 Ingenious Awards

The Information Technology Association of Canada is searching for Canada’s most technologically savvy organization in five different categories: large private business, large public organization (enterprise), small to medium size business, small to medium size public organization, and not-for-profit (non-government organization).

If you believe your business is using innovative technology to improve the performance of your organization, ITAC would like to put your company through the test for a chance to win the Ingenious Award. A panel of judges from the CIO Association of Canada will oversee the evaluation of each entry based on the organization’s ability to show a measureable outcome as a result of information and communication technology.

Winners will have the opportunity to be profiled in the November issue of the nationwide Backbone Magazine (print and online), as well as a feature told on CIO TV, a new program at IT World Canada. Those selected for the Ingenious Award will also be invited to the gala awards dinner in Toronto on November 27 where the stories of their achievement would be told to all of Canada.

Deadline for nomination entries is on July 15 and winners will be notified on September 20.
