The two-day course promises that you will learn everything you need to know to create an iPhone App including running your App on the iPhone Simulator, iPhone and iPod Touch, distributing your App to the AppStore, and adding analytics to your App so you know what your customers are actually using and not using.
And it looks like the course delivers. One of the students from the last intake just released a timely little app called iCheer – Country that allows Olympic fans to cheer for their home country.
Have you ever been to a game and forgot your jersey or heaven forbid your face paint! Not to worry, you always have your phone! Use ‘iCheer!’ to cheer on your countries athletes or team! Now you can show your support for your country wherever you and your phone go. Whether it be one of the events in Vancouver, the World Cup in South Africa or any other World Cup event. Works with iTouch as well!
iPhone Dev School is being held this weekend at the University of Calgary. Seats are $699 and if you have questions, contact Michael directly by email.
