KPMG is hosting the PICK20 Web 2.0 Awards later this month in both Vancouver and Toronto. In addition to the awards, they’ve got a couple panels organized to discuss corporate adoption of Web 2.0 tools and strategies.
Widely popular among consumers, Web 2.0 has now begun to emerge on the radar screens of businesses. Companies see these technologies as a way to reach out to new customers, reinforce existing relationships, and connect in new ways with their own enterprises.
During this practical, interactive, panel discussion, you will meet some of the top Web 2.0 innovators and experts in Canada. You will also heed the best practices and lessons learned by companies like yours currently adopting Web 2.0.
Vancouver’s event takes place at the Morris J. Wosk Centre for Dialogue on Tuesday, September 16th from 5:30pm – 8:30pm. The first hour is a cocktail reception folllowed by a panel discusson. Backbone Magazine’s Peter Wolchak will be moderating the Vancouver discussion that includes Leonard Brody of NowPublic, MJ Sikorsky of Cambrian House, Bernie Aho of ConceptShare, and Kate Trgovac of LintBucket Media.
Toronto’s event takes place at the Metro Toronto Convenetion Centre on Monday, September 22nd from 10:00am to 12:30pm. Wolchak will be moderating a panel that includes Daniel Kraft of Open Text, Michael O’Connor Clarke of Thornley Fallis Communcations, Sean Moffitt of Agent Wildfire, Mike McDerment of FreshBooks, and Tim Shore of FreshDaily.
