L-SPARK Opens Call for Applications to Canadian Startups

Applications are now open for L-SPARK’s Incubator Session 1.

L-SPARK is an Ottawa-based Incubator and Accelerator with a laser focus on the Enterprise Software market supported by Wesley Clover International and Invest Ottawa.

The L-SPARK Incubator will provideguidance and tools to help selected startups and entrepreneurs validate and enhance the technology and product concepts they are planning to develop in the Enterprise Software and software-as-a-service sectors.

“I am excited to announce that L-SPARK has reached its next phase of growth. We are ready to accept applications for the 2015 winter session of the L-SPARK Incubator and I call on all entrepreneurs with a passion for Enterprise Software to apply. Seize the day – and apply!” says Leo Lax, Managing Director, L-SPARK.

L-SPARK is encouraging entrepreneurs, researchers, sole-founders, and co-founders with industry experience, a tested proof of concept, a pre-trial software application, and some pre-revenue traction for an applicable technology to apply.

Startups in the L-SPARK Incubator will spend four months with mentors, investors and business advisors defining products and clarifying market reach, identifying team members and obtaining early validation from potential customers with the ultimate goal of increasing their company’s valuation. Startups will receive working space with administrative support, as well as virtual legal support and business development expertise.

Funding opportunities will also be available to startups following the first month and upon graduation.

Applications to the Incubator Session 1 will remain open until February 27, 2015 via the L-SPARK website.
