Not too long ago, a group of frustrated, yet socially conscious youth created The Young Social Entrepreneurs of Canada (YSEC). The goal of the YSEC is to support youth organizers and youth-led groups in creating social enterprises. Their vision is to make social change a viable career option for extraordinary youth.
And so this weekend sees the first Young Social Entrepreneurs of Canada conference in Toronto.
The event takes place at Metro Hall in downtown Toronto at 55 John St.
Named Re:Vision 2010, the event aims to empower Ontario’s most innovative young leaders and entrepreneurs. The hope is that they will catch the vision that they can affect change in their own community by building a sustainable business.
