Metroleap Media adds to their Advisory Board

Vancouver’s announced today the formation of an advisory board that includes some heavy-hitters in music, search, and Internet Marketing. Joining the MetroLeap Media board are former MySpace Music Senior Vice President Jamie Kantrowitz, former General Manager of Yahoo! Canada Kerry Munro, and Entrepreneur and Advisor Charles Seely.

Juristovski believes the new board members will play an important role in the company’s strategic growth plans as it builds new industry partnerships to leverage it’s 33 million monthly unique visitors.

While all three additions will bring something to the party, Kantrowitz’s music industry knowledge is a dream fit. She led the strategic planning of MySpace rich media platform of content partnerships and original programming, artist strategy and label relations, as well as consumer and strategic marketing initiatives.

MetroLeap Media and its founders, Milun Tesovic and Alan Juristovski, have received recognition as a 2009 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award finalist, Red Herring Canada Top 50 company, 2008 Burnaby Business Excellence Award, and 2008 Simon Fraser University Entrepreneur of the Year Award.
