“By 2013, mobile phones will overtake PCs as the most common Web access device worldwide.” – Gartner Inc., December 2009.
It’s this mobile revolution that sparked Mobcom, a multidisciplinary speaker series about the significant business and social implications of mobile computing.
This unique series features individuals from across North America that are paving the way with their success, failure and lessons learned.
It will offer business and community leaders, planners, developers, designers and entrepreneurs a unique opportunity to gain valuable insight into how to succeed in mobile computing.
The next event is September 21. It’s called “The Mobile Lifestyle: A Personal Revolution & New Business Paradigm,” held at CBC Vancouver (700 Hamilton St., Studio 700), from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Tickets are $30 for early bird, $45 regular.
If you miss this one, there will be another in November, then February, then April and June.
