Mobilicity today announced the arrival of full-service Mobilicity kiosks at select locations of The Brick in Toronto and Edmonton. The Brick’s says it plans to expand into the mobile phone industry and that these kiosks will complement its electronics department.
“Teaming up with The Brick makes a lot of sense,” said Mobilicity Chief Customer Officer Anthony Booth. “After all, Canadians have turned to The Brick for added value for years. We are excited about bringing The Brick customers the value they deserve in wireless.”
The Brick Group is one of Canada’s largest volume retailers of household furniture, mattresses, appliances and home electronics, operating under five banners: The Brick, United Furniture Warehouse, The Brick Mattress Store, and Urban Brick. Meanwhile, Mobilicity, self-described as “Canada’s smart mobile carrier,” aims to bring down the cost of wireless for Canadians.
