nextMEDIA – Monetizing Digital Media returns to Toronto this November with an event devoted to the dollars and sense of digital media. The urban equivalent of the annual Banff event (nextMEDIA – Future of Digital Media conference) promises a full program of great speakers, in-depth case studies and topic-driven panels focused on the new economy of reputation, attention and customer engagement.
nextMEDIA has already confirmed Susan Bonds, President & CEO of 42 Entertainment and Alexandra Levy, Director, Google Branded Entertainment as speakers. Each will present a case study focused on how their respective organizations are making money through branded entertainment, sponsorship and licensing deals. Other confirmed speakers include: James Cooper, Creative Director, Another Anomaly; Jordan Hoffner, Head of Content Partnerships, YouTube; Mitch Joel, President, Twist Image; and Rachel Masters, VP of Strategic Relationships, NING.com.
Attendees at nextMEDIA will also be able to attend the Canadian New Media Awards, which takes place Tuesday, November 18th, the opening night of nextMEDIA. Now in its 8th year, the Canadian New Media Awards recognizes and celebrates the accomplishments of individuals and companies in the Canadian new media industry. The event regularly attracts over 400 industry professionals and supporters from across the country.
