Mpire optimizes ad spend with AdXpose

The first presenting company during session one – Marketplaces, Online Adverstising & Payment Systems – at WTIA’s FAst Pitch Forum is Matt Hulett, CEO of Mpire Corporation. Mpire is an advertising optimization technology company attempting to evolve traditional online advertising (read Google Adsense) into a more relevant and engaging medium for both publishers and advertisers.

Mpire original product is WidgetBucks which launched in October 2007. WidgetBucks is a vertical shopping ad network that helps publishers optimize their earnings. Through a proprietary ad technology called YieldSense whichs makes makes over 17,000 optimization decisions per second, WidgetBucks results in an average eCPM increase of 50-60 percent for publishers. According to Hulett, WidgetBucks serves 1.5 Billion monthly ad impressions through the sites and blogs of over 26,000 publishers.

Last month, Mpire launched patent-pending AdXpose – an optimization technology that gives brand marketers and agencies unprecedented transparency and maximized return on ad spend (ROAS) from their ad campaigns across the entire Web, including 3rd party channels such as exchanges, ad networks and direct publishers. AdXpose is currently automating 30-50 Billion optimization decisions through its system each month.

Mpire has completed a $8 Million Series A with Ignition Partners and a $10 Million Series B where Draper Fisher Jurvetson joined Ignition Partners.
