Next is Now Campaign: Rogers Looks at How Much Canadians Value the Internet [Video]

Nearly four in 10 Canadians value the internet as much as electricity and water. 38% of us want smart appliances. 54% of us watch movies and TV shows on computers. And most of us with tablets and smartphones have at least a second screen running while watching our actual television.

These stats speak to how much Canadians value the internet and the technology that orbits around it from smartphones and tablets to digital wallets and smart appliances. Toronto telecom giant Rogers has published a video on YouTube compiling these Canadian statistics from a variety of sources, including Nielsen, Ipsos, ComScore, StatsCan, Pew, Cisco, and Apple.
