nextMEDIA is on a nationwide hunt again to find the hottest emerging digital properties across Canada. The finalists will be named to the nextMEDIA’s Digital Hot List and announced prior to nextMEDIA Toronto Conference on November 30, 2009.
“The aim is to source out the emerging digital hot spots where Canadian audiences are congregating and to showcase those properties directly to the advertising community,” comments Mark Greenspan, VP of Digital Media, Achilles Media.
The competition is open to content portals, social media groups, websites, newsletters, blogs or any digital media property that can demonstrate a loyal and growing fan base that provides a tantalizing vehicle for advertisers. Canada’s leading advertisers will review the Digital Hot List entrants by looking closely at a number of criteria – number of members and unique users, growth of user base, level of audience engagement, ability to commercialize the audience, co-branding potential and a viable growth strategy.
Finalists will receive a FREE pass to nextMEDIA Toronto and the Canadian New Media Awards as well as extensive promotional opportunities with nextMEDIA and the recognition as one of Canada’s hottest digital properties.
It costs $99 to enter and all entries must be submitted online by Friday, October 9th.
