Now You Can Do Your TimmyRun With a Visa Card

Last month Tim Hortons launched TimmyRun, a new web-based tool that allows customers to combine beverage orders for up to groups of 20 people at once.

Canadians have been making “Timmy runs” the old-fashioned way for years but this new school tool makes it easier for the beverage runner to take everyone’s order, keep track of them all, and then hand them out without any confusion after arriving back from the run.

While TimmyRun is all about making coffee runs easier, this week’s announcement that Canadians can now pay for their coffee and Timbits with Visa credit and debit cards is all about convenience.

Once cash-only, Timmy Hortons began accepting MasterCard at its registers in 2007 and introduced debit in 2010 but for some reason snubbed Visa cardholders at the till.
