Vancouver’s Radiant Communications announced a ‘significant win’ yesterday – it has been awarded a 5 year contract for broadband services for over 3,000 North American locations of a large North American corporation. The total value of services and equipment over the 5 years is in excess of $20 million. In addition to high reliability broadband connectivity Radiant will also provide a fully managed MPLS private network, redundant fail-over and best-in-class response and repair capability.
So who is this mysterious mega-customer? Word on the she street is that it’s Tim Hortons. Makes sense as Radiant lists Tim Hortons as client in their 2008 Q1 quarterly report (PDF) and their press release yesterday stated that they had been working with this customer since December of 2007. And Tim Hortons just happens to have 3,100 locations in North America.
