Profit Magazine Seeking Canada’s Hottest Startups for 2013 Hot 50 List

Profit magazine is searching for hot young companies for their 14th annual Profit Hot 50 list.

Recognizing Canada’s top new growth companies, the  list ranks businesses by their past two years’ revenue growth. So if your firm was launched in 2008 through 2010, you can enter to be in the Profit Hot 50 list.

Benefits for those that make it onto the Hot 50 include coverage in the October 2013 issue of Profit magazine. Those on the list will also receive an invitation to GrowthCamp, a summit where Hot 50 leaders share ideas, learn from experts, and make contacts. Landing a spot on the rankings will also generate local and national publicity and marketing that can help winners acquire new customers, partners, investors and employees.

“Since our recognition in last year’s Profit HOT 50 list, business has basically doubled for us,” says Sathish Bala, founder and CEO of New Age in Toronto. “We have moved to a bigger office and recently, we have formed a strategic joint-venture with another IT firm. It was a great boost at the right time. “

Inspire your staff, attract new client and investors and spark relationships with other dynamic companies by clinching a place amongst the best, Profit says. Submit your entry before June 30.

Profit also produces the annual Profit 500, which ranks Canada’s fastest-growing companies by five-year sales growth, and the annual Chatelaine W100, which ranks Canada’s top female entrepreneurs.
